Hey guys i wanted to share a cool stop animation film that's about 2 minutes long so click on this link to view the video ----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mwQIPodSDY
So what I think about this stop motion animation video is that it's definetly cool but that's not all I have to say about it, I think that this video was very unrealistic which I think is a good thing because it can inspire others to do so. I'm sure that this person has spent a lot of time making this video and I respect that because if this person did not take as much time to work on this as he did it wouldn't be as entertaining as it was and it wouldn't have as much hits as it got. This person obviously put a lot of work in this video and I know that because of the recognition he got out of it.

The element of design that my photo is capturing is mainly colour because of the way I see it fading from absolute white to blue, and you can even see it if you come across from looking at the picture from the top to slowly moving to the bottom. Another element of design that I have used is texture even though it's in a picture you can still see the texture. I also think that this picture would look symmetrical if it was taken from a different angle and that would make this picture even better.

I think that my picture is awesome because of the way I used these compositional techniques. The technique I used were rule of thirds. Not only did I actually use the rule of thirds I broke it down and actually made it rule of fifths. I think that the way I used this techniques were interesting because the way we photographers use is the rule of thirds, but instead what I did that was visually even more interesting is use rule of fifths.
Another technique that I could use to enhance this picture to make it even more visually interesting is depth of field, I think that depth of field is a very interesting technique because it it gives us a real effect that we in our every day lives can see if you are concentrating on something. If you are concentrating on something then can can only focus on that one thing and what depth of field does is it creates an effect that we can can experience.

Chess Piece
Scanned Chess piece
Chess piece Photographed

Chess piece Photographed
on Copy Stand and then
enhanced in Photoshop
I think that the best way to get the most quality out of this sketch is actually take a photograph of this sketch, why because as you can see the photograph of this chess piece is actually very detailed and not only that the brightness is just enough so you don't actually have to edit it. But then again to much brightness can also draw your eye away from the picture because it's physically disturbing to the eye. But another thing that I can see in this picture is that the colours in this picture are not the colours that were used in the original drawing, that is also another con because what I believe is that people should see the author as a pure artist not an artist that Photoshop's all his art and acts like a phony, that's what I think people need to be seeing these days.
For the Scanned version of this chess piece think that this is the right way to go, not the best way to go the right way to go because it shows that you have actually expressed your art the right way, but the con for that is your drawing isn't as interesting as it could be, and that doesn't benefit you of your viewer. So what I would say say in this case is that it is your choice in whether you want to use the best method or the right method.
I think that the elements of design I have used are very effective in the ways I have used them. If you take a look at the way I used my value you can tell if you look closely that it actually has a lot of value. But it also depends on what version of the chess piece picture you looked at because as you can see the value is actually really standing out in the chess piece in what I photographed outside, but that's a different story. Another element of design that I have used is movement because of the way that I that I made the lines look like the are actually sinking in on the right side of of chess piece, even though I know that I didn't really do a good job with it I think that the chess piece itself wouldn't be the same because then these lines wouldn't be effective at all and the chess piece would've looked pretty different is what I would think.

I think that this picture has an excellent example of breaking pattern and depth. I think that this is a great example because if you take a good look at it what's being produced on the outside is really bringing attention to to the middle or what's mainly to be focused on. It also catches my eye very quickly because of how illusional it is to me.
I also think that this picture has a good example of breaking pattern because when you are looking at this picture it draws your attention to were this artist wanted you to look at, and right when your eye reaches to the centre of the picture, boom the the pattern ends and your done looking at it. Even though the author put alot of detail into this its meant to be looked at for maximum ten seconds or even less is what I think. http://imgur.com/pqRe8

Ubisoft logo
I think what this logo says to me in a game related way is that I think of this logo as a bunch of confusion with an eye ball ploped in the middle. I think what there trying to tell us here is that there are going to be selling mind puzzling games, and there right, they do sell mind puzzling games for example uncharted. That is a very challenging game they've created. I also think that the shape that this company has chosen, this is like a sphrical look that means hey this a world of challenge and it literaly looks like a world. The colors that this company has chsen also It looks like a portal if you take a good look at it.dark blue on the outside fading into a pure white dot in the middle with spirals joining in. This is what I think of the Ubisoft logo.

Formalism
Hi guys today I will be
taking about the design qualities of a picture I chose, you can even have a
look at this link. http://www.google.ca/imgres?q=River+la+puce+a+view+of+the+river+davies+thomas&um=1&hl=en&biw=1920&bih=873&tbm=isch&tbnid=krGJqkq7cjoimM:&imgrefurl=http://www.postcrossing.com/postcards/CA-71865&docid=jnQy9l7bE5zwxM&itg=1&imgurl=http://s3.amazonaws.com/static2.postcrossing.com/postcard/medium/c04decb76243427cff733d92f99c0c99.jpg&w=500&h=348&ei=aTxTUJuIO8GjyAGAqICIDQ&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=157&vpy=179&dur=2388&hovh=187&hovw=269&tx=124&ty=206&sig=104175889559399200523&page=1&tbnh=105&tbnw=142&start=0&ndsp=55&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0,i:72
I think that the design qualities of this picture is not realistic but
it really appeals to me. I think it really appeals to me because of the colors
this artist chose, it really stands out to me I don’t know why but it does. I
think that the lines this artist used were very calm and elegant. I also think
that this painting is very balanced because it has a good variety of colors
great emphasis because it stands out to me. Not only that but the texture for
this painting is very realistic and that’s the only realistic thing in this
painting.

Thomas Davis A View of the river
I think this picture isn’t real because of the
the choice of colors this artist used, also the colors don’t really pop out to
me and that’s why I think it dosen’t look real.
I think this quality of
design is fantastic because it looks like this artist drew this picture quickly
and confediently and that’s why I think this painting is real.
This picture makes me feel
calm and because of where this peace of art takes place in. Noy only that but
it also looks like a place of where I can relax. This is how this painting
makes me feel.
I think the meaning of this
picture is to send a message to others feel a certain way. I think the message
is to feel calm, relaxing , and soothing, but to also enjoy. I also think when
the author drew this painting he was in a very calm and happy mood.
